C. Naomi Mendez is a Ph.D. student in the Religious Studies department at Stanford University, specializing in Jewish Studies. Her research interests include Jewish mysticism, comparative mysticism, Biblical interpretation, and the construction of gender & sexuality therein.
Naomi earned her B.A. in Religious Studies and Anthropology from San Diego State University (2016).
She later earned her M.T.S. in Jewish Studies from Harvard Divinity School (2018).
