Sam McLoughlin (she/her) is a PhD student in American Religions at Stanford University. Sam’s research explores the intersections of race, religion, and politics in 20th century America, with a particular focus on American Conservatism. Previous projects include a master's thesis on Black activists with the STOP ERA movement. She earned her MA in Religion and earned a BS in Political Science with a minor in Religion from Florida State University.
