Sunil Persad is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Religious Studies Department at Stanford University. His current research explores the social origins of the cult of the dead among the earliest Christian communities. His other research interests include Syriac Christianity, Qur'anic Studies, Ancient Medicine, and Digital Humanities.
